David's Cookies entered the retail market place in 1979 as a single boutique gourmet cookie store in New York City. We produced and sold fresh baked cookies using only the finest ingredients and quickly gained a huge customer following that eventually led to a chain of 240 Davidís Cookie stores throughout the eastern seaboard and Puerto Rico.
Using only top quality ingredients like: pure vanilla, Swiss chocolate, whole nuts and nothing artificial, in 1990 Davidís Cookies began to mix cookie dough for other foodservice operators and concentrated on developing additional products for the foodservice industry. Throughout the 1990ís David's Cookies continued its evolution into a full line dessert supplier producing brownies, crumb cakes, muffin batters, cheesecakes, and with the acquisition of Bittersweet Pastries, a line of upscale thaw and serve tarts, layer cakes and single serve desserts.
Today, with our diverse line of dessert offerings, we can satisfy the demands of all segments of the foodservice industry from school foodservice to white tablecloth restaurants.
